STAND WITH US AND CONTINUE THE FIGHT AGAINST INEQUALITY.
January 20th 2019. The #WomensWave is coming.
To harness the power of everyone present to change the culture of violence against women for the next generation.
Australia’s culture of violence against women is a crisis. It is rooted in a widespread cultural acceptance that the values, roles and rights of women are lesser than those of men. It is time to change this culture so that the next generation of women can live their lives to their fullest potential; free from intimidation, harassment and violence. Women have the right to be safe, claim their space, be respected and have their voices heard.
Stand with us and allow us to continue the fight against inequality.
By donating to the Women's March Sydney, you will allow us to continue to make sure all of our voices are heard.
All donations go toward the costs of running the event, including staging and sound, speaker fees, AUSLAN interpreter, etc.
Your Donation At Work
Thanks to the generosity of the Manaaki Foundation, all donations will now be matched dollar for dollar. This means your donation goes twice as far.
Thanks to this additional support, we are excited to announce that 15% of the total raised will be going to Lou’s Place. Lou’s Place is a community-based refuge run by women for women in crisis, homeless, feeling isolated or needing support. They receive no government funding, and rely on the support of donations and volunteers to provide the essential services they do.
