Who We Are
Navajo Elementry School opened in 1960 and has been a staple of the community ever since. With an enrollment of over 400 kids, the community is in need of supplies and materials for teachers and students. Navajo is also a Title 1 school with over 40% of students receiving free or reduced lunch.
A fire broke out in a supply room about 2 am on Aug. 22. It was quickly contained by the fire department, however, the smoke and water damage completely devastated the interior of the building. EVERYTHING was destroyed. Students and teachers have found a temporary home on a vacant campus a few miles down the street, but they are all starting from scratch!
We need your help! We are in desperate need of materials, books, supplies, technology, etc. so our students can continue their school year with minimal disruption. Please donate what you can, no amount is too small. All funds will go directly to the PTO to support the teachers, staff, and students of Navajo. Thank you!
