Annalakshmi on the Swan was founded by His Holiness Swami Shantanand Saraswati with a mission to serve humanity through Food, Arts and Culture. Annalakshmi being a registered Charity Organisation is run by a group of volunteers from all walks of life, right from cooking to cleaning to feeding almost 3000 patrons a week. Almost 20 to 25 volunteers contribute an enormous amount of time to make this viable on a day to day basis.
Since 2001, Annalakshmi has served countless Western Australians via the concept of “Eat as you like and Pay as you feel”. This profound cycle of sharing and feeding is directly dependent on patrons’ financial contributions that help us ensure that no one is deprived of basic sustenance; food.
However, the current regulations surrounding the health crisis has caused a drastic decline in patronage. Presently, we are financially struggling to maintain Annalakshmi’s day to day operations to feed the guests who come for their take-away meals.
It is now, more than ever, that we genuinely seek your help and generosity to serve the Perth community and to uphold the founding visions of Annalakshmi on the Swan.
Please help us gain generous support from the community once again during this unprecedented time.
From All of us at Annalakshmi on the Swan, Perth WA.
