Canada Life Ride to the Lake
Canada Life Ride to the Lake is an epic annual fundraising event in support of Ducks Unlimited Canada’s (DUC) wetland conservation work. On Friday, July 19, participating cyclists will meet at The Qualico Head Office in Sage Creek at 5:30 a.m. and depart at 6:00 a.m. Riders will be appropriately slotted in comfortable riding groups named Espresso (Fast), Cappuccino (Moderate) and Macchiato (Casual).
NEW to the 2019 Ride will be a 60 km option from West Hawk Lake to Kenora departing at 1:00 p.m. We are expected to arrive at Lake of the Woods Brewing Company in Kenora around 4:00 p.m. to celebrate our accomplishment together.
The Ride will be fully supported with first aid attendants, support vehicles, hydration/nutrition and a bike mechanic courtesy of Woodcock Cycle. NEW to 2019, riders will be provided with a beautiful riding jersey curated by Tetro Design.
Each rider commits to a $100 minimum personal donation as a participation requirement and to raising a minimum of $1,000 to demonstrate their dedication to conserving our wetlands.
Updates will be posted on @mcfaddenbenefits Instagram and Facebook sites.
About Ducks Unlimited Canada
Ducks Unlimited Canada conserves wetlands that are vital to waterfowl and wildlife. But these wetlands are important to all of us. Wetlands keep the water in our lakes and rivers clean. They protect our communities from floods and droughts. Ducks Unlimited Canada is tackling these important environmental challenges by collaborating with people (like you) who are putting their conservation mettle to the pedal.
