Our Current Situation
Queens has the highest number of COVID-19 cases in NYC. As this pandemic continues to unfold many of our community members have started to feel the pain from the requirements of social distancing and its corresponding economic impacts. Our current institutions lack the ability to respond quickly or adequately to meet the needs of those currently in need. It is up to us to come together in this time to support each other.
What We're Doing to Help
Social distancing is necessary to help us flatten the curve and slow the spread of the virus but comes at a cost bared by those people who are already marginalized. Many of our neighbors cannot leave to go outside to get groceries and others have lost their income. During this time, we can show up and help by providing financial and material support to tide people over or even meeting basic needs like proving groceries.
You Can Join Us!
Help us continue to provide support by donating what you can to our fund that is directly redistributed to pay for necessities like groceries, household supplies, and cash assistance.
