Our Kupidabin Campaign needs you!

Our cultural center is in need of some work. Priorities are Concreting - Verandah - Bush Kitchen and Storeroom in that order.

Our Team at Kupidabin Wilderness are campaigning for funding to complete the infrastructure and improve accessibility for our disabled patrons. Located on 10 acres of land at the foothills of Mt.Samson in Queensland, the land has Wildlife Accreditation, is a haven for Native Wildlife and a peaceful healing place. 38 years ago, my husband and I pioneered this virgin land while I was recovering from a 13 year marriage of domestic violence. Kupidabin is the Aboriginal word for "Place of Possums" and this sacred land has healed me.

My heart drives me to share this sacred healing place.

To facilitate this, my Family and I established Kupidabin Wilderness Foundation and my vision is for this Land to be a legacy for Future Generations.

Since 2005 we have fundraised with dedicated committees to develop what we have today.

We commenced building the Centre in 2013 to incorporate an Indigenous Art Gallery and to provide a space for workshops and a place for all people to come who need help to restore their quality of life and connect with the land.

Now I am in my Twilight Years I NEED YOUR HELP to complete our facilities to provide suitable requirements to cater to the needs of disabled children and adults so they too, can share the 'Healing Energy' provided here ... then I can 'Rest Easy.'

But there’s a problem ...

Our facilites are incomplete, we currently have a problem with mud when it rains. In the summer the heat reflects off the steel doors (which are not yet insulated) and is extremely hot and uncomfortable for overseas and Interstate visitors especially Elders. Our bush kitchen is outdoors and requires shelter to protect from the elements and a storeroom is also required.

Here’s what we need to do.

We are going to work extremely hard promoting this Campaign hoping to reach Sponsors and receive Donations to complete this work.

Once the facilities are complete, future funds raised can support the work of the Foundation to help those in need and bring laughter and happiness into the lives of the underprivileged members of our Community.

Help us reach our goal.

We have a target of $8,000.00

The current priority is to have concrete and a verandah on the North side of the building.
