A little bit of context

Education is vitally important for everyone. Education is best in a pleasant environment fit for learning. Do you remember being cold, freezing even in your school classroom? We would guess you didn't as our Australian schools are generally air-conditioned and heated and we take this comfort for granted.

However in India many students in the villages are educated in huts on dirt floors. In the winter time the temperature drops very low- sometimes as low as zero (0) degrees.

Help our Rotary E-Club of Melbourne raise $480.00 Australian Dollars so that we can buy some warm blankets which the students can use to keep warm.

But there’s a problem

In India many students in the villages are educated in huts on dirt floors. In the winter time the temperature drops very low- sometimes as low as zero (o) degrees.

The students are freezing cold and this is not conducive to being educted.

Here’s what we’re doing about it

The Rotary E-Club of Melbourne want to purchase 16 blankets to keep students at the Hanspahari school warm throughout the winter time so they can concentrate on their education. The cost of 16 blankets is $480.

You can join us

The Rotary E-Club of Melbourne aims to raise $480 AUD to purchase these blankets before the end of June 2018.

Help us make a difference in these children's lives- any donation amount will be helpful and all funds raised will go direct to the purchase of these blankets.

And here’s some amazing perks for supporting us that you can’t live without

Your perk is the amazing feeling that you have directly contributed to making a child's life better and contributed to their education. Thank you.
