Binbee is the last line of defense for the Galilee Basin.
Right now our planet is warming and extreme weather conditions are causing mass human displacement.
We are facing ecological collapse at catastrophic rates.
The Great Artesian Basin is the largest artesian basin in the world. It contains ground water systems that are paramount to the health of wildlife, culture and farmland in Australia which is the driest inhabited continent on earth. Despite outcry from the scientific community, the Australian government has given the Adani Coal mine the final tick of approval.
The good news is there are people on the frontline who are prepared to protect water, community and living systems to leave a safe planet for future generations. Binbee is an entirely volunteer run, non-funded community for frontline activists who have given up their lives to protect our only planet. As was the case with the Franklin River blockade, having a safe camp to train activists and plan protests is critical to getting thousands to the frontline.
So far activists have helped to delay, disrupt and reduce the size of the Adani mega mine for over 5 years. Now is the time to come together and stop it for good . People on the frontlines are prepared to put their bodies on the line and fight for our future, but without financial support, it will be unable to continue.
We need your support to raise $500,000 to purchase a base for the campaign. This will ensure that people can keep protecting country and put their bodies on the frontline. Mass civil disobedience is our last position to stop adani in one of the biggest environmental battles in Australian history.
The time to act is now and we need your help.
Please donate (even just $5 goes a long way) and help this campaign get as much exposure as possible by sharing it far and wide.
