Founded by Artistic Director Frédérique Michel and Producing Director Charles Duncombe, City Garage creates and presents original works that explore contemporary ideas and issues in a distinctive, strongly physical, highly visual, multi-disciplinary style. We're the resident theatre company at Bergamot Station Arts Center in Santa Monica.
Unfortunately, the recent coronavirus has affected all of us, including the theatre. Social distancing and preventative quarantines forced us to stop rehearsals and postpone the opening of our next production, Margaret Atwood's 'The Penelopiad'. With no ticket sales and no source of revenue, the theatre is in danger of having to shut down. But with you're help, that won't happen!
Enter [The City Garage Virtual Cabaret]
City Garage has been a home to many talented artists over the years. To raise funds and keep the work alive, our company of actors will be reprising crowd-favorite roles, delivering monologues, songs, and other performances in our Virtual Cabaret! New content every week!
Your contribution to City Garage goes to keeping the lights on while the coronavirus passes. We're currently shut down for at least 8 weeks. Your generous support will help us get through this difficult time and come out the other side stronger than ever.
We'd like to thank each and every one of you for your contributions, which help us to continue to bring you the theatre you enjoy!
