I am a 14 year veteran of the Australian Army who discharged in 2015. I have always wanted to fundraise for an organisation that supports and helps both current and former Australian Defence personel and their families.

Fundraising Idea

When trying to come up with ideas on how I could raise funds for this worthy cause, I remembered how people would always say "When I get out, I’m going to grow my hair long and grow a beard".

And so the Caveman Project was born.

For the next twelve months I will not be cutting or trimming my head or my beard; letting it grow cave man style!

Who am I raising funds for?

I have decided to raise funds for the Survive to Thrive Nation.

Survive to Thrive Nation are the creators and developers of the Post War Survive to Thrive Program the world’s first Post Traumatic Stress Disorder online coaching program developed by real veteran life coaches, motivational speakers, and personal trainers guided by holistic practices, including proven, clinical and non-clinical therapy. Their coaches have not only overcome the worst of their own adversities from PTSD but also the psychological and emotional impacts from transitioning into civilian life. This program has been proven to help current and former Defence families regain control of their lives by using empowering, step-by-step principles and inspirational and motivational techniques to connect with their members through first-hand experience to not just survive, but to thrive.
