When was the last time you had your breath taken away by a night sky?

The combination of expanding urban growth and cheap energy-efficient lighting is resulting in artificial light at night becoming one of the fastest growing, yet most poorly understood or documented, forms of pollution in the world.

The Australasian Dark Sky Alliance, have come together to advocate for the protection of the night-time environment, educate the public and policymakers about night sky conservation, promote environmentally responsible outdoor lighting and empower the public with the tools and resources to help bring back the night.

Around Australia and New Zealand, many organisations, councils and individuals are actively creating dark sky areas, but they are doing it alone.

With your support, ADSA can

- advocate and assist your case

- assist with documentation

- seek media and press opportunities

- foster business, technical, scientific opportunities

- promote your dark sky area, event or activity
