Who we are:

The Australian Disaster Response Group (DRG) is a part of Backpacker Medics; a self-sufficient, highly mobile team that deploys to disaster areas worldwide. So as not to place any further burden on local populations or infrastructure, DRG deploys with its own rations, shelter, and water purification capabilities. DRG is always prepared to trek far into the most remote and isolated pockets of a disaster zone to seek out, and provide medical assistance to, areas of the worst human suffering imaginable. DRG has saved many lives with its unique approach and needs your financial help to continue.

How you can help us:

The BPM Disaster Response Group is a volunteer organisation that receives no direct financial support other than the contributed funds from deploying team members and through donations from fundraising. We have zero administration fees so 100% of your donation goes directly to supporting the team through supplies and logistics for their operation. Any contribution, large or small, would be greatly appreciated to help assist us in our work. Please help our team bring some relief to those experiencing such unbelievable suffering. Backpacker Medics is a registered charity, a deductible gift recipient and donations over two dollars are tax deductible.
